A camp caretakers home was constructed, and Ed & Meuriel Van Ryn came on to serve as camp’s first official caretakers.

The bathhouse was now usable, although incomplete and an additional three 12’ x 16’ staff cabins were added to the three built in the previous year.  On the opposite end of the valley, a recreation/activity center was constructed just past the Twin Oaks Chapel building while the Red Barn obtained some much needed improvements to add functionality as a storage space.
